Sprechen Sie Deutsch?

Have you ever wished you could speak another language? Have you ever wished that you and your friends could talk to each other and have others wonder what you are saying? Well here’s your chance. Come to the library and learn German. You will learn some basic words and phrases, sing a few songs and play some traditional German games. It should be a lot of fun! The classes/story times will be held Wednesdays in January and February from 4-4:30 PM. Learn a new language and have fun, all at the same time.

Holidays!

The holiday season is quickly approaching. To celebrate the upcoming holidays, we have a few special programs scheduled. First, our Family Story Time theme will be Christmas around the World. We will be looking at holiday traditions from different cultures. We will be doing crafts that tie in with a few of the traditions. We will also be having a special holiday snack. Secondly, we will be having a special family night on Tuesday, December 22 from 6-8 PM. We will be watching The Polar Express. Don’t miss out on the fun!
